Hee Hee, more stuff from Nike+

Found a new widget, had to use it. My new goal is to burn 3500 calories in 4 weeks. The Nike+ says that I burned 830 Calories (!) on my 6 mile run, and today's 3 mile run took 438 so I think it is very possible for me to burn them all in the next 28 days.
Why 3500? Because I read that one pound of body fat is equal to 3500 Calories. I think it will be fun to watch the little meter fill up. I keep my copy of the training program on the wall in my bedroom, and I check off each day when I finish run. I really like seeing all the little check marks in a row, it brings me a sense of satisfaction, recognition for the things I have done.
I tried running with the large bandage today. No good. So I went to Striders in Grandville and got an anti-chaffing stick. I hope it works, the chaffing is very bothersome. The nice people at Striders also helped me with my new blister problem (new shoes are giving me blisters after 2 miles on the arch of my left foot). I have till Feb 14 to decide whether or not I keep the shoes, in the mean time I am going to try special tight water wicking socks when I run. The cotton socks may be the problem.
The only pain I should have to endure while running is the burn of my muscles. Not chaffing of the arm, or blisters on the arch of my foot (what a crazy crazy place to have blisters!!). I gotta hold my arm up and out at a strange angle to prevent further damage, it's uncomfortable and stupid looking.
