I love Garlic

I really do love garlic. I would put it in almost everything I made if other people didn't eat it too. Phil asked me once if I could try cooking with less garlic and less Pineapple. I love to put Pineapple in stuff, too. I think they go good together... But I cut it down and try not to over do it.

I decided to try to make garlic bread like the frozen loafs from the store. I think It worked real good. First I pre heated the oven to 350. Then I took 8 cloves of roasted garlic and mashed them into a paste with a small spoon. Then I sliced the baguette into small slices and lathered them with a lot of butter. I spooned out relatively equal amounts of the garlic paste on each slice and then placed them in the oven for 5 mins. I was really afraid of burning the garlic (it burns real easy real quick, at least it has for me) so I checked it almost every minute. Next time I'll try 6 to see if I can get the bread a little crisper. But I really liked it and so did Phil.

Next time, I want to slice the bread the long way and cover it with more butter and more garlic. Then I will slice it like I did here, but wrap it in tinfoil and let it cook for 10 mins at 350. I think that will be even better.

On a more boring note, I applied at Pet Smart, Hobby Lobby, and Micheal's today. Cross your fingers for me, I could use a job. Next week I will hit the mall. Super Fun.
